Endicor was a planet located somewhere in the space of the galaxy's Alpha or Beta Quadrants.
In the year 2286, the planet was attacked by the renegade Federation starship USS Zephyr under the command of Garth of Izar (having assumed the identity of recently-deceased former captain Phil Burroughs), and was not long thereafter the site of a second engagement against the USS Enterprise-A, where the Zephyr was boarded by a Starfleet Security detachment and immobilized. Nearly eight decades later, during the year 2365, Endicor was the destination of the USS Enterprise-D until it discovered a shuttlecraft with a duplicate of Captain Jean-Luc Picard from a time rift some six hours into the future aboard. (TNG episode: "Time Squared")
