The Endless were a group of ancient Tomol who had undergone the Change sometime around 731 BC, but did not undergo the Cleansing ritual. They could be found in the Valley of the Endless on Arethusa's Suba island, encased in a kind of living rock that kept them alive, but did not allow them to escape. (Seekers novels: Second Nature, Point of Divergence)
