The enforcer cruiser was a century Romulan Star Empire starship type, a Tal Shiar enforcer cruiser warbird class infused with Borg technology, in Tal Shiar service in the 2380s decade.

History and specifics

In the 2380s, Tal Shiar enforcer cruisers were warbirds. Ships of the class were smaller than Federation Starfleet Luna-class starships. Ships of the class were armed with disruptors firing viridan-colored energy bolts. Their hull included torpedo tubes that fired ship-killer missiles. These missiles were tipped with a trilithium warhead that could blast a target's critical subsystems. Compared to warbirds familiar to Starfleet, the power distribution curves of enforcer cruisers were irregular. Both weapons and defensive systems were highly decentralized.

In the year 2386, Major Helek ursuped Commander Joron Medaka's command aboard the Mogai-class warbird IRW Othrys and summoned reinforcements from her Tal Shiar compatriots to engage the Luna-class USS Titan and the Jazari exodus. When the IRW Othrys was joined by the lead enforcer and second enforcer, the cruisers' weapons nearly overwhelmed the larger starship. Jazari drones turned the tide when they established a scattering field. The Romulan enforcer ships were forced to retreat in poor order. The Othrys was defeated by remote controlled shuttlecraft from the USS Titan.
