Epsilon Ceti Outpost, commonly referred to as EC Outpost, was a Federation outpost located in orbit of Epsilon Ceti B, the smaller of the two stars in the Epsilon Ceti system, in the space of the galaxy's Beta Quadrant.
The outpost was established in the late 22nd century, shortly after the Risian Hedony had allied with United Federation of Planets. Originally resembling a dark gray cylinder, by the late 24th century it had been overhauled, repaired and upgraded to the point where it looked like a disc with a slightly blue tinge.
The outpost had an observation center which contained trees, ponds, lakes, hills, a river and a waterfall. The Littlejohn Monument was located near the central lake.
In March 2376, Admiral William Ross met with Montgomery Scott at Epsilon Ceti Outpost to discuss the Kropasar mission in another attempt to convince him to rejoin Starfleet. (SCE eBook: The Future Begins)
