Epsilon Theta II was the second planet in the Epsilon Theta system. It was a class L red planet.

History[]

In May 2159, during the Earth-Romulan War, all seven planets in the Epsilon Theta system were infected by a metagenic virus planted by the Romulans. However, they were provided with an anti-toxin by a trio of Earth Starfleet Daedalus-class medical ships. An attempt by the Romulan Imperial Fleet to stop the medical ships was thwarted by a task force of Starfleet vessels led by the NX-class Enterprise NX-01, which destroyed the Silvak Outpost that the Romulans had established in the system. (ST video game: Legacy)

In the late 23rd century, Klingons field-tested a stellar converter weapon that unintentionally collapsed Epsilon Theta into a quantum singularity, trapping anything in its orbit within its event horizon. (Adventures RPG module: Mission Briefs: Cold War mission: "The Edge of Eternity")
