The Enterprise in orbit of Epsion II
Epsion II was an inhospitable planet in the Epsion star system. The Chodak set up a base there to make use of the abundant geothermal energy. Tolian Soran went there to acquire or synthesize trilithium in 2371. Since the Federation and Chodak Empire were on shaky diplomatic terms, Captain Jean-Luc Picard, who had prior encounters with the Chodak, was sent to persuade them to deny Soran the trilithium.
