Equizine-3 was a drug used in Federation medicine in the 24th century, which controlled the growth and development of tumors. Doctor Elizabeth Lense alternated use of equizine-3 and another drug, stasizine, while treating victims of an unknown pathogen on Mariposa in 2376.
