Eric Hahn was a Human man, a Starfleet officer in the 24th century.
Biography[]
As of the year 2366, Hahn held the rank of admiral, and was Superintendent of Starfleet Academy. Hahn tentatively admitted Wesley Crusher to the Academy, but rescinded the offer when Crusher failed to show up at the oral exams. Hahn regretted this outcome, and encouraged Crusher to apply again the following year. (TNG episode: "Ménage à Troi")
In 2372, Hahn voiced his objections to the formation of Red Squad, an elite group of cadets. This earned him a reprimand from Vice Admiral James Leyton. A week later, Hahn was re-assigned as commanding officer of Starbase 375. While there, Hahn became aware Commander Ishmael Snowden was secretly conspiring with Admiral Leyton, and was murdered due to his suspicions. (TNG - Slings and Arrows eBook: The Oppressor's Wrong)
He was the husband of Crystal Hahn, and a friend of Captain Jean-Luc Picard. (TNG - Slings and Arrows eBook: The Oppressor's Wrong; Star Trek: Myriad Universes novel: A Gutted World)
