Eta Indi was a class AIII-IV light blue star located in the space claimed by the Federation government in the galaxy's Beta Quadrant. The star was located in proximity to Epsilon Scorpii and the Angel system. Eta Indi was known to Humans as being visible from Earth in the Indus constellation, about 79 light-years distant. In the 24th century, there were no known inhabitants within the bounds of Eta Indi's star system. (ST reference: Star Charts)
