Details[edit | edit source]
This star group consists of four stars located 541 light-years from Earth, where they are visible in the constellation of Taurus. This system was, by the late 24th century, a holding of the Romulan Star Empire. The Acrux system's orbit was the location of a number of worlds, including second planet Alcyone II. The Alcyone civilization reportedly came from this star's system. (Startrek.com; ST video game: Starfleet Command III)
- In gameplay, this name was part of a list that were applied to systems on the game map, with random attributes assigned to them.
