Legacy[]
In 1999, a time traveling Spock and Q shook hands, but the contact inadvertently swapped their personalities and left them on an asteroid hurtling toward Earth. Debating psychological reasons for the transposition, Spock observed that their circumstances would have made a good thematic story by Aeschylus or Euripides. Q disagreed, seeing no overall theme in their situation, only plot. (ST audiobook: Spock vs. Q: The Sequel)
