Biography[]
In the year 2380, Walsh was the captain of the Celtic when he received a contract to get several of his crewmembers assimilated aboard the USS Reston, located in the Korso Spanse. Upon arrival at the Spanse Walsh sent a team, lead by his first officer Jenna Reed and Nicholas Locarno, aboard the Reston ostensibly to prepare it for towing so that it could be salvaged for Starfleet technology. After the team was unable to start the Reston's engines Walsh took it under tow with a tractor beam, but this activated the Reston's weapons systems and led to the Celtic being destroyed with all hands.
