The Even Odds was an independent courier starship, commanded by Zin Dezavrim, that was used in the 2370s by its crew for various economic and trade missions, as well as for travel, in the Gamma Quadrant. It possessed a dropship that was used by the crew for travel away from the ship, including planetary travel.
Specifications[]
The Even Odds possesses four decks, referred to by letter designations. The bridge was located at the top of the starship, living quarters in the middle and maintenance and cargo bays below. The Even Odds was one hundred and fifty meters long, one hundred and twenty wide and sixty meters high, with a mass of roughly three hundred thousand tons when not carrying cargo. Captain Dezavrim constantly has the Even Odds refitted with the latest technology, but has also modified it with salvaged alien technology and components, such as bulkheads from Cardassian starships.
The Even Odds is also known to have some extradimensional properties in it's design. It has an entire deck, known as the Wa, that is not accessible or visible from the external structure of the ship, as well as other segments of the ship that move at random intervals between sections on the same deck. (DS9 novel: Rising Son)
History[]

(DS9 novel: The Soul Key, Star Trek: Typhon Pact novel: Plagues of Night)
