The Exalted Ones were the ruling body on the planet Gemworld in the 24th century.
In early 2376, Melora Pazlar had to atone for the crime of killing the renegade engineer, Tangre Bertoran, in front of the Exalted Ones. Even though the Exalted Ones ruled the death as unavoidable and justifiable, as it was due to Bertoran that Gemworld was nearly destroyed, Pazlar continued her atonement rituals for many months.
