The FMS Krayton (FAM-389) was a Ferengi D'Kora-class starship in the Ferengi Alliance service in the 24th century, under the command of DaiMon Tog.
History[]
In the year 2366, the Krayton represented the Ferengi Alliance at the biennial Trade Agreements Conference on Betazed. There, DaiMon Tog became enamored of Betazoid ambassador Lwaxana Troi, and abducted her, her daughter Deanna, and Commander William T. Riker. The Krayton was tracked down by the Federation Starfleet starship USS Enterprise-D and Captain Jean-Luc Picard was able to secure the release of the prisoners. (TNG episode: "Ménage à Troi")
Lwaxana Troi later described the vessel as a "cargo ship". (DS9 episode: "The Forsaken")
In 2376, the Krayton was active in the Devron system near the Cardassian border, where DaiMon Tolg intended to trade an Omega molecule with the Cardassians. The Ferengi and the Cardassians attacked the Romulan starbase in the system to prevent Admiral Sela and the Romulan Star Empire from seizing Omega. (TNG video game: Armada mission: A Call to Power)
In 2377, the Krayton operated as a scavenger on battlefields, looking for ships devoid of crew. (TNG video game: Armada II)
