The FMS Kreechta (FAM-421) was a Ferengi D'Kora-class marauder/scavenger/armored transport starship in Ferengi Alliance service in the 24th century, under the command of DaiMon Bractor. (Decipher RPG module: Starships; CCG set: Rules of Acquisition)
History[]
In the year 2365, the Kreechta discovered the Federation Starfleet starships USS Enterprise-D and USS Hathaway in the midst of battle simulations. Bractor demanded that the Hathaway be turned over to him. Captain Jean-Luc Picard and Commander William T. Riker used a variation of the "Picard Maneuver" and tricked the Kreechta crew into believing Picard had ordered the destruction of the Hathaway. (TNG episode: "Peak Performance")
In 2372, the Kreechta was deployed as the command ship of one of the Ferengi wings that blockaded Bajor. Captain Benjamin Sisko and the crew of the USS Defiant rendezvoused with the Kreechta to discuss the situation. Sisko later traveled in the USS Rubicon to meet with the Kreechta crew. (DS9 novel: The 34th Rule)
Bractor was still in command of the Kreechta in 2376, when it was involved in the Gateways Crisis. (TNG novella: The Other Side)
On Stardate 53551.6 (July 20, 2376), the Kreechta was found adrift by USS Avenger near an artificial metreon nebula in the Ikolis Expanse. Ambassador Worf had an away team beam over to take control of the vessel. With the additional firepower provided by the Kreechta and other salvaged ships, the Avenger was able to hold off Toral and his ships long enough to escape the Ikolis Expanse. (ST video game: Armada mission: Vendetta)
Shortly after, the Kreechta was active in the Devron system near the Cardassian border, where DaiMon Tolg intended to trade an Omega molecule with the Cardassians. The Ferengi and the Cardassians attacked the Romulan starbase in the system to prevent Admiral Sela and the Romulan Star Empire from seizing Omega. (TNG video game: Armada mission: A Call to Power)
In 2377, the Kreechta operated as scavenger on battlefields, looking for ships devoid of crew. (TNG video game: Armada II)
