The Federation-Klingon War of 2165 was a short conflict between the United Federation of Planets and the Klingon Empire with only a handful of engagements.

History and specifics[]

Officially, a war was never declared as neither party was truly equipped for a prolonged conflict. Never the less, forces were mobilized and the border region between the two star nations was readied for a war. Thanks to internal political maneuvering, the newly elected Klingon Chancellor managed to sabotage the Klingon Defense Force's first strike and both parties agreed to stand down.
