The events of Star Trek: Destiny are not a part of the continuity of The Path to 2409, and thus it is unknown how the radically different political landscape formed in the aftermath of the Borg invasion in the prose continuity might effect Bacco's presidency beyond 2381; whether she will remain in office as long, or have the same successor as the Star Trek Online continuity.
