History[]
In 2270, Yeoman Ferro and Lieutenant Pavel Chekov served as James T. Kirk's adjutants during a high-level briefing at Starbase 6. Ferro was taken hostage along with the rest of the briefing attendees by a Klingon named Korga, a ruse to steal Andorian credits stored in the station's vaults.
Pavel Chekov showed an interest in Ferro, which she did not appear to reciprocate. She considered it lucky when one of her comments changed Chekov's mind about his offering to play a balalaika for her later. (TOS - Unlimited comic: "Action of the Tiger")
