For other uses, see Fibona.

In the Kelvin timeline, Fibona was a star with an associated star system, located in the galaxy's Beta Quadrant. Fibona lay within Federation space and was, by default, not open to outsiders. (ST video game: Fleet Command)

History and specifics[]

The system contained at least one planet, Fabona. This was the homeworld of the Fibonans and the seat of the Fibonan Republic's Fibonan High Council. (Star Trek Magazine Issue 184: "Star Trek Beyond Movie Preview")

In the 2260s decade, the Fibona system was Federation space. (ST video game: Fleet Command)

By the year 2262, Fibona was off-limits to most Independents and other non-Federation factions. However, Independents could earn access to the system by completing assignments for Starfleet. (ST video game: Fleet Command mission: "Dark Space")

In 2263, the Fibonans chose Captain James T. Kirk of the USS Enterprise as their neutral representative for a peace mission to Teenax. The Fibonan High Council offered the Teenaxi an old war artifact and sent their highest regards. Grand Audarch Steve of the Teenaxi Delegation rejected the gesture. The Teenaxi engaged in a fight with the captain, who was rescued by the Enterprise. Soon after, the Fibonan artifact was stolen by the warmonger Krall. (TOS movie: Star Trek Beyond)
