The Duuvit class was a warp-capable starship. Although the Kentari were spacefaring for millennia, their ships were no match for younger civilisations like the Alpha Quadrant Alliance, the Lukari Concordium and the Tzenkethi Coalition. Frigates were smaller and weaker than Braanur-class cruisers.
In the year 2410, Duuvit-class frigates engaged the Lukari starship LSS Reskava and its AQA escort but were easily disabled. The frigates were again outgunned when they defended New Kentari Moon against a Tzenkethi attack, and when Traditionalists led by defense minister Pentaaro attempted a coup against Tuulemaan, Prime Minister of the Kentari Union.
