Scimitar (material)

Scimitar was a material option, an Alpha Quadrant Alliance designation for the visual appearance of a spacecraft's outer hull, i.e. a vessel's "skin". Scimitar was available for some warbird classes of the Romulan Republic and its Romulan Republican Force. Scimitar put the ship in a uniform, gray/silver cover. The warp plasma in the nacelles appeared bright green.

It was derived from the hull material introduced by the IRW Scimitar, and later the RRW Scimitar and the Scimitar-class dreadnought warbird. (TNG movie: Star Trek Nemesis, STO - From the Ashes mission: "Explore the Flotilla")
