The Quas-class was a type of battlecruiser built by the Iconian Empire in the 25th century. Operated by the Heralds, these powerful vessels formed the backbone of the Empire's fleets during their invasion of the Milky Way in 2410. (STO video game: The Iconian War)
History and specifications[]
The Quas-class began development at some period before the fall of the Iconian civilization 200,000 years ago. Its construction had only one purpose: to serve as the workhorse for the Iconian forces during their return. (STO video game: The Iconian War)
After the death of Colonel Hakeev and his failed attempt to open a gateway to bring the Iconians, a Herald Quas cruiser emerged from an Iconian gateway in the Brea system and captured Empress Sela's flagship, the IRW Leahval. (STO mission: "Cutting the Cord")
During the Iconian War, Quas cruisers were used as the backbone for the Iconian forces, and were present in almost every battle which occurred during this conflict. (STO video game: The Iconian War)
