TNG 20th Anniversary

In 2007 Star Trek: The Next Generation celebrated its 20th Anniversary, and as with TOS's 40th Anniversary in 2006, Pocket Books prepared a year of publications dedicated to TNG.

Celebratory Works

• Death in Winter, by Michael Jan Friedman - The paperback reprint of 2005's hardcover novel focusing on Jean-Luc Picard and Beverly Crusher in the wake of Nemesis.
• Resistance, by J.M. Dillard - The first mission of the Enterprise-E after Nemesis, which will answer several questions (among them, "who's the new first officer?") and feature a new encounter with the Borg.
• Q & A, by Keith R.A. DeCandido - Following Resistance, which will be the ultimate Q story, as Q's fascination with Picard and the Enterprise will, at last, be explained.
• Before Dishonor, by Peter David - Following Q & A, another confrontation with the Borg, one which promises lots of nastiness.
• The Buried Age, by Christopher L. Bennett - A novel of The Lost Era, which tells what Picard did in the eight years between the loss of the Stargazer and the launch of the Enterprise-D.
• Sword of Damocles, by Geoffrey Thorne - The fourth book in the Star Trek: Titan series taking place on Captain William T. Riker's first command, exploring the Gum Nebula in the Beta Quadrant.
• The Sky's the Limit, edited by Marco Palmieri - A short-story anthology in the same vein as Prophecy and Change, Distant Shores, and Constellations.
• Remembrance of Things Past, Book I and Book II, by Terri Osborne - A two-part CoE/TNG eBook crossover that has the da Vinci and Enterprise crews teaming up to solve the riddle of a deadly artifact.
• Slings and Arrows - A six-part eBook miniseries chronicling the first year of the Enterprise-E's existence, leading up to Star Trek: First Contact.
