This blog is an entry in the Star Trek Online series New Dawn. It introduces the appearance of a trio of Alpha Quadrant Alliance ships, the tier 6 tactical escorts of the "Defiant bundle".

The dev blog includes screenshots of the prototype of the new tactical escort classes: the Federation's Valiant-class escort USS Valiant, the Klingon Empire's Kor-class bird of prey IKS Kor, and the Romulan Republic's Malem-class warbird RRW Malem. Each ship is equipped with the new quad cannon mechanic.
The blog includes a tab linking to the STO website: Star Trek Online: Defiant Bundle Stats, which elaborates on each ship's capabilities and equipment.
