Finalkill is the term used to describe unchangeable, absolute death in the 31st century.
In that time frame, transreplication technology, future medicine and hologram technology can extend life almost indefinitely. When a lifeform irrevocably dies and can't be saved by any of these methods, they are said to have been finalkilled. (DTI eBook: The Collectors)
