Fleet Command is a Star Trek video game published in November 2018. Originally an app for mobile devices, the game later expanded include Windows PC and Macintosh versions.
Summary[]
Fleet Command is a starship-based combat and exploration game where players command a fleet circa the year 2263 of the Kelvin timeline, around the time of Star Trek Beyond. The Fleet Command version of the Star Trek universe features an iteration of the Kelvin timeline where characters and situations from various other realities in the wider Star Trek multiverse frequently crossover into that milieu, an application of video game logic to accommodate inclusion of other spinoffs.

Appendices[]
Background[]
Continuity[]
Fleet Command premiered as a video game taking place in the TOS era, in the Kelvin timeline, concurrent to the era of Star Trek Beyond. Later updates to the game have introduced elements from Star Trek: Discovery and other prime timeline series, which on the surface seems incompatible with the continuity of the original setting, as Discovery is set in the primary universe and not the alternative Kelvin timeline. To reconcile this example of video game logic with continuity, it could be speculated that the Discovery elements represent alternate reality versions of the Discovery cast who exist in the Kelvin timeline. The most likely conclusion is that the game itself takes place in some sort of third alternate reality which is neither the primary universe nor the Kelvin timeline, but has elements of both in a framework that more closely resembles the Kelvin reality.
