Fletcher was a female human who served in the operations division as a communications officer aboard the USS Enterprise in the 2270s.
History
In the year 2274, Fletcher manned the communications station on the bridge while Nyota Uhura went on a landing party to the surface of Zeta Reticuli II.

Fletcher hailed Captain James T. Kirk at Spock’s request, but Kirk’s personality had been subsumed by Menteptah II, who coldly ordered her to stay off that frequency and that Spock would be called at a later time.
