"Flint", also known as Mr. Micah Brack, was born as a footsoldier named Akharin in Mesopotamia, Iraq, Asia on Earth in 3834 B.C.. After living a full life, he was wounded on the battlefield...but did not die. Subsequently learning he could not die, he began living a series of different identities, including King Solomon, Lazarus, Alexander the Great, Leonardo da Vinci, William Shakespeare, Johannes Brahms, the C20 artist Reginald Pollack and Sten from planet Marcos II. In 2269, he was encountered by Kirk and the crew of the Enterprise on stardate 5843.7 on the planet Holberg 917-G while searching for mineral ryetalyn to cure a plague that was infesting the ship (TOS episode Requiem for Methuselah, TOS novels The Cry of the Onlies and The Rise and Fall of Khan Noonien Singh, Volume 1 and TNG novels: Star Trek: Federation and Immortal Coil).
