Forging Bonds

"Forging Bonds" was a mission in the Star Trek Online video game. It used to be the seventh mission of the "Cardassian Struggle" episode, but was removed from the game when the arc was revamped for Season 11: New Dawn on 27 October 2015.

Description[]

Mission text (Federation): <rank>, your new assignment is to patrol the Algira system.; The True Way considers themselves to be the true leaders of Cardassia – a sort of government in exile. As far as the Federation and the Cardassian Detapa Council are concerned, they're little better than terrorists.; The True Way has been harassing ships through the sector, but the Algira system seems to be a focal point for their activity. Starfleet wants to know why.; Patrol the system and assist any ships in trouble. Maybe the presence of the <shipname>. in the area will convince the True Way that their campaign against the Federation is more trouble than it's worth.

Mission text (Klingon): <rank>, your new assignment is to patrol the Algira system.; The True Way considers themselves to be the true leaders of Cardassia -- a sort of government in exile. As far as both the Federation and the Empire are concerned, they're little better than terrorists.; The True Way has been harassing ships throughout the sector, but the Algira system seems to be a focal point for their activity. That makes it the most sensible place to start searching for them.; Patrol the system and engage any True Way ships that you find. Perhaps the presence of the <shipname> will convince the True Way that it is not worth their trouble to attract the attentions of the Empire!

Mission text (Romulan, Federation-aligned): <rank>, I need you to look into some disturbing rumors from the Algira system.; The True Way considers themselves to be the true leaders of Cardassia – a sort of government in exile. As far as the Federation and the Cardassian Detapa Council are concerned, they're little better than terrorists. Worse still, they contain elements of the old Obsidian Order, who have ties to the Tal Shiar, and I don't need to remind you of how bad that situation is.; The True Way has been harassing ships throughout the sector, but the Algira system seems to be a focal point for their activity. With your skill in gathering intelligence and information, I'd like to ask the <shipname> to head to that system and take a look.

Mission text (Romulan, Klingon-aligned): <rank>, new information has placed elements of the True Way in the Algira system. Your expertise at information gathering may be useful in discovering exactly what they are planning.; It is likely that the True Way are looking for allies. Let us be certain that they do not find any.; Patrol the system and discover what you can about True Way organization in that sector. Perhaps the presence of the <ship name> will convince the True Way that it is not worth their trouble to attract the attention of the Empire!
