Ten Forward"srcdate" and DEFAULTSORTs (Reply | Watch)

In enacting the "srcdate" template, I found it was ignoring the category DEFAULTSORTs for TOS episodes that place them alphabetized when they begin with the articles "A" or "the".

Through a test, it has become clear this was because the DEFAULTSORT tag must precede the {{srcdate}} code in order to correct the categorization.

Therefore, I posit that, for these pieces of code to function, the DEFAULTSORT code for every episode, novel, comic, book, game, publication, etc. must be moved to the top of the article.

It will be a huge task, so i wanted to make the group aware of the change in our modus operandi -- captainmike Wiki-wordmark (12:30, July 22, 2017)
