Ten Forward → Brazilian Star Trek comics (Reply | Watch) |
I just found out that there were two original comic stories released in Brazil that have recently been reprinted in issues #129 and #136 of the Star Trek Graphic Novel Collection. I'm not sure if the reprints are in English or still in the original Portuguese. Issues #124, #133, #135, #138, #139 and #140 also include scripts and outlines for unproduced Star Trek comics that are published for the first time. If anyone here owns these issues, can you create articles for these stories? --NetSpiker (talk) 07:14, 27 March 2021 (UTC)
- The two original stories that qualify for their own articles would be O Exilado (The Exile) and A Hora Rubra (The Red Hour) -- although the latter is based on The Return of the Archons (so would we include it in the The Return of the Archons article? as that story's comic adaptation?)
- As for scripts and outlines for unpublished stories (since they do not comprise a full release deserving of standalone articles), those can be embedded in the articles for the volumes they are contained in (and linked to and from unpublished comics for interconnectivity)
- Graphic Novel Collection, Volume 124
- Graphic Novel Collection, Volume 133
- Graphic Novel Collection, Volume 135
- Graphic Novel Collection, Volume 138
- Graphic Novel Collection, Volume 139
- Graphic Novel Collection, Volume 140

- I got the ball rolling regarding #124 by starting the article - but then i came to a full stop -- if Trial By Fire was published as a full script, it can actually be split off into an article. otherwise, i set up the info formatted as per if it were published as an excerpt only -- captainmike 14:48, 27 March 2021 (UTC)
The previously unpublished materials in the Star Trek Graphic Novel Collection are all now officially published--sometimes including the full scripts, as in the case of Trial By Fire. So why wouldn't they get their own pages? They're no longer unpublished. - unsigned by anonymous user
- They are eligible for article status. My previous comment states "if Trial By Fire was published as a full script, it can actually be split off into an article.".
- The Brazilian comics as well - although Red Hour is a direct adaptation of The Return of the Archons, so that story is to be slotted into that episode's article -- captainmike 00:23, 7 June 2021 (UTC)
