Ten Forward → Drink? (Reply | Watch) |
I'm looking for the description of a drink Geordi daydreams about in the novel. All I can remember was it was blue (?), either it was the drink or whipped cream. Can anyone quote or describe it to me?.
Sounds like it is either Romulan Ale or Saurian Brandy. Since the former is illegal, I suspect it is Saurian Brandy. 65.163.113.219 02:36, 27 June 2008 (UTC)
- I don't think this is specific enough for anyone to help you. Sorry.
- By "in the novel" do you even know which of the 100s of Star Trek novels you are referring to? -- Captain MKB 02:46, 27 June 2008 (UTC)
- Seems that you might be referring to Andorian ale or Maraltian seev-ale.
- Also, Geordi was imagining blue whipped cream on an ice cream sundae in Encounter at Farpoint, the novel. But there was no drink involved.
- I found this information on this new kind of site called a "search engine" -- the one I use is called "Google" and is located at http://www.google.com -- you might be timid about using it, but let me assure you, it is user-friendly. Please consider it because asking random questions on our forum pages is not always the most efficient way to get information -- we use this area to discuss how the information should be turned into articles on our site. -- Captain MKB 02:55, 27 June 2008 (UTC)
- For the record, when this question was asked recently on Memory Alpha, it was in regards to the "Encounter at Farpoint" novelization. We directed the question here, to Memory Beta, because you are all far better equipped and far more knowledgeable than we are on novels. --OuroborosCobra talk 15:16, 29 June 2008 (UTC)

- If I'd thought to look at Memory Alpha, I could have gotten more information to answer the question quicker. Someone probably didn't realize these are two separate projects and thought I would magically know what transpired on Memory Alpha when they asked "Hay guys what was that novel?" -- I don't check Memory Alpha as often as I do Memory Beta these days. -- Captain MKB 16:12, 29 June 2008 (UTC)
