Ten ForwardPIC cleanup project? (Reply | Watch)

Poking through things, articles like Romulus, Bruce Maddox, and Data, even, need a lot of cleanup and everything to bring them in-line with the established canon timeline of Picard. Considering the sheer quantity of articles and extensiveness of the overhaul - there's a need for images, article text updates and revisions, {{retro}} tags, infobox updates, all of that - maybe it could be it's own full-blown wiki-wide "project"? I've tried to do some here and there, but I'm only one man and there are only so many hours in the day. --WTRiker (talk) 00:01, June 8, 2020 (UTC)

i think the "project" would be limited to making a list to determine the articles that need to be changed, and then checking them off as they go. i was trying out a couple formatting cues in Picard himself's article that i think are how we should approach this, just to keep existing data without deleting or moving it. i'd probably say the list should be limited to things that have been mentioned in PIC or things that have been eliminated by PIC. -- captainmike Wiki-wordmarkX 02:31, June 8, 2020 (UTC)
Oh, yeah. I agree. It's just kind of somewhat labor-intensive, considering a number of drastic changes that have to be made to the articles involved in both PIC and the last 17 years of post-Nem material. Like, the whole Destiny series/Caeliar are unequivocally gone because the Borg are still around in 2399. Riker never became an Admiral, literally everything involving Data, B-4, and his restoration via Noonien Soong's android body, etc. Like I said, it's labor-intensive. Haha. --WTRiker (talk) 05:55, June 8, 2020 (UTC)
