Ten ForwardSingularity (Reply | Watch)

When a Romulan ship is destroyed, either by a accident or in war, is decomissioned, what happens to the singularity, i.e. a Black Hole ?! Sounds like the singularity, being what it is, it will act AS a naturally generated singularity, and it will consume anything near it, like a star. 65.163.113.219 02:40, 27 June 2008 (UTC)

The Romulan technology is powered by singularities, such as the starships. 65.163.113.219 02:41, 27 June 2008 (UTC)
apparently they just go away. when Romulan ships explode in episodes I mean. No one has ever noted any leftover singularity as having remained, to my knowledge. -- Captain MKB 02:47, 27 June 2008 (UTC)
Didn't The Badlands duology have a loose Romulan singularity causing problems?--Turtletrekker 14:10, 27 June 2008 (UTC)
According to what I've read, a romulan ship was destroyed, and its "power source" is what is causing problems, since it indicates that a rogue singularity is causing problems. That is why I asked about what happens to these things when a Romulan ship is destroyed. 65.163.113.219 15:47, 27 June 2008 (UTC)
This also means that the Star Empire, others who use these as power sources may also have a devastating weapon as well. All they have to do is detonate their ship, say near Earth while cloaked. Bye Bye Earth and Federation as it gets swallowed up by a "black hole". 65.163.113.219 15:50, 27 June 2008 (UTC)
These singularities the Romulans use definitely don't seem to be star-sized though -- they are fairly easily contained also -- AFAIK it would take more than just a BOOM to make a small singularity into a full scale black hole as opposed to a fairly dangerous navigational hazard.. -- Captain MKB 19:30, 27 June 2008 (UTC)
If they were a major hazard, one would have expected Deep Space Nine to have made a big deal of it during the Dominion War, where Warbirds were being destroyed left and right. --OuroborosCobra talk Klingon Empire 15:11, 29 June 2008 (UTC)
