A friendly reminder regarding spoilers! At present the expanded Trek universe is in a period of major upheaval with the continuations of Discovery and Prodigy, the advent of new eras in gaming with the Star Trek Adventures RPG, Star Trek: Infinite and Star Trek Online, as well as other post-57th Anniversary publications such as the ongoing IDW Star Trek comic and spin-off Star Trek: Defiant. Therefore, please be courteous to other users who may not be aware of current developments by using the {{spoiler}}, {{spoilers}} OR {{majorspoiler}} tags when adding new information from sources less than six months old (even if it is minor info). With Voyager back in the Alpha Quadrant and the crew breaking up, Seven of Nine struggles with the new realities of her life.

Summary[]

With Voyager in spacedock after its return to the Alpha Quadrant, Seven is the only one making no effort to leave the ship so Janeway leaves her in charge. She says a brief farewell to Naomi before she beams down with her mother, giving her a hair ribbon as an early birthday present.

Seven is finally comforted first by a chat with Torres, who is still in sickbay after giving birth and to whom Seven admits feeling like she is losing her collective over again, and then by the discovery that Naomi left her Flotter doll by her regeneration chamber in order to stop her being lonely.
