Franklin Solon was a human physician in the 24th century, who served aboard the USS Destiny as ship's surgeon.
In 2374, he performed the procedure joining Dax with Ezri Tigan. After doing so, Solon told Ezri everything he had read about the joining of a Trill and a symbiont. (DS9 short story: "Second star to the right...", DS9 episode: "Shadows and Symbols")
