Frederick McLaren was a 23rd century Human man, a civilian scientist.
Biography[]
A mechanical engineer and chemist, McLaren was one of the Federation's foremost experts in zero gravity operations. He was intelligent and particularly dextrous.
In the 2260s, he was employed by Multiplanet Metals Incorporated. By 2269, he served as an associate researcher at the company's leased laboratory on Deep Space Research Facility 39, which focused on zero gravity alloy research. He reported to lab administrator Sebastian Parvenu and chief researcher Lorraine Parvenu. (FASA RPG module: The Vanished)
In 2269 (on reference stardate 2/1111), McLaren was 34 years old when the entire space station crew vanished during a routine communications check-in with the starship USS Enterprise.
