Frunalian Q'Maire-class science vessel.

A Frunalian science vessel was a type of scientific starship operated by the Frunalians.

In 2369, soon after Benjamin Sisko's crew arrived on Deep Space 9, three Frunalian science vessels requested permission to dock at the station. Miles O'Brien noted to Sisko that getting the ships docked would be a problem as his engineering crew were retrofitting the airlocks. (DS9 episode: "Emissary")

In 2382, a Frunalian science vessel docked at Deep Space 9. Julian Bashir watched it leave the station. (ST - Typhon Pact novel: Plagues of Night)

In 2385, a Frunalian science vessel visited the new Deep Space 9. (DS9 novel: Sacraments of Fire)
