Colt on the run... from Starfleet? ...And it's Captain Kirk to the rescue?! — "Future Tense, Part Two" was the 13th issue of the Marvel Comics series of Star Trek: Early Voyages comics. It featured the second of a four-part arc in which Colt was sent into an alternate future.

Colt gets thrown forward in time to an alternate future, thanks to a mysterious artifact, and lands on the bridge of... the Enterprise!

Log entries

Personal log, James T. Kirk.
Commander UFP Merchantman Bounty. I have an uneasy feeling about putting my friends' lives in jeopardy on this. The slenderest of hopes... but my gut tells me Mia Colt should not be here. If I can get her back, I can only wonder how different... how much better... all our lives will be...
