Captain G'Zar was the Klingon commanding officer of the Birok-class starship IKS Kazin. G'Zar was killed in battle against the Cardassian Union in 2328 when the warp core of the Kazin breached. G'Zar maneuvered the Kazin in close to the attacking Cardassian vessels in order to take some of them with him when his warp core exploded. (TLE novel: The Art of the Impossible)
