GIGO was a term originating from computer programming in the 20th century, an acronym of the phrase "garbage in, garbage out." It expressed the idea that the output of any computer process relied on the quality of the data or queries put into the system.
Commander Sonya Gomez used the term "GIGO" in reference to Ganitriul, the artificial intelligence which controlled the automated systems of planet Eerlik. (SCE eBook: Fatal Error)
