The Galactic Union was a loose alliance of the major races of the Milky Way Galaxy active in the 28th century. It evolved from the 25th century Alpha Quadrant Alliance. The Temporal Accords were proposed by the Galactic Union which were signed in the year 2769 which precipitated the Temporal Cold War. (STO - Future Proof mission: "Time and Tide")
