The Galactic Union was a loose alliance of the major races and cultures of the Milky Way Galaxy active in the 28th century.
History and specifics
The Galactic Union evolved from the 25th century Alpha Quadrant Alliance. The Temporal Accords were proposed by the Galactic Union and signed in the year 2769 and led to the Temporal Cold War. (STO - Future Proof mission: "Time and Tide")
