Galar was a star system, located somewhere in the space of the galaxy's Alpha or Beta Quadrants.

The Galar system's orbit was the location of a number of worlds, including the capital planet of the Galardonian civilization, Galardon. (LD episodes: "Second Contact", "The Stars at Night")

A star of this name has a chance to occur in each campaign of ST video game: Infinite.
