Galaxy Alpha

Galaxy Alpha was a stellar region explored by the USS Enterprise on stardate 18:09.2. At first, the starship encountered no life in the region. (TOS comic: "The Planet of No Return")

It is unknown if this galaxy is actually a separate galaxy from the Milky Way, as the Enterprise would not have been able to reach it under normal warp speed in any reasonable time. It is possible this is an alternative nomenclature for the galaxy's Alpha Quadrant, or some portion of it.
