Galaxy M-674 is a stellar region within the galaxy's Alpha or Beta Quadrant.

History[]

In 2260s, the Federation starship USS Enterprise explored Galaxy M-674 and surveyed a system with seven planets that were calculated to be drawn into its cooling star within 40 years, and the star itself would fade in 50 years. Life was detected on the icy fourth planet of the system, a planet that had lost its atmosphere centuries ago. A time portal was discovered there, protected by the Guardian of the Future.
