Galaxy Zekbran was a stellar region of the galaxy's Alpha or Beta Quadrants. It had at least one habitable planet. In 2267, the USS Enterprise was exploring the so-called galaxy around stardate 31:09.5 when a mysterious force damaged one of its engines and burned out the replacement parts needed to repair it, forcing the crew to obtain zutotanium from the planet to make more.
