Revision as of 20:09, 30 May 2011

The Galileo III (NCC-1701/3) was a shuttlecraft assigned to the USS Enterprise during the 2280s.

The Galileo III was capable of warp travel with the addition of a warp sled that could be added easily. In 2285, Lieutenant Saavik used the Galileo III to travel into an articial wormhole that had been created by the Klingons, as a diversion so that Admiral Kirk could infiltrate the facility. (TOS comic: "The Wormhole Connection")

Saavik attempted to evade the attack shuttlecraft, but was captured and brought to the Klingon space station. (TOS comic: "... The Only Good Klingon...")
