Gallia nectar was a type of nectar that could be consumed as a beverage.
History and specifics[]
Gallia nectar was a creation of the Talaxian civilization, made from a flower that grew only near a certain lake in Paxau and bloomed once every six years. Gallia nectar drinks were the specialty of the Paxau Resort. In the year 2373, Neelix made a custom holosimulation of the resort in the Voyager holodeck, and sampled some nectar for Harry Kim and Tom Paris. The nectar was removed when Paris altered the program to be more "fun". (VOY episode: "Warlord")
Gallia nectar was available at on the menu at Quark's on space station Deep Space 9's Promenade. (ST reference: Star Trek Cookbook)
- Presumably, Gallia nectar wouldn't have come to Quark's until after Voyager returned from the galaxy's Delta Quadrant.
